本系積極鼓勵老師努力從事學術研究,推動數位設計教育、參加相關研討會、辦理公開展覽、專刊發表甚至出國進修等。本系教師除申請相關研究計畫之外,更多方尋求與國內廠商合作機會,與未來數位設計商業活動相結合,尤其與政府機構及民間單位進行合作。努力將教師的專業發揮在整合產、官、學、研上面,進而提供學生實務實習經驗。
